Murder mystery Knives Out was a huge success with fans when the Agatha Christie-style whodunnit landed in 2019, earning a worldwide gross of more than $300 million, so it’s hardly surprising that a sequel has been greenlit.

The sequel sees Daniel Craig’s enigmatic detective Benoit Blanc return to analyse more eccentric suspects as part of a brand new case.

And now writer/ director Rian Johnson has unveiled an official title: Glass Onion in a Twitter thread, which praised Agatha Christie for the fact she “never tread water creatively”.
